American singer, songwriter, and producer, Stevie Nicks has been mesmerizing fans with her raspy voice since 1975 when Fleetwood Mac reached worldwide success with their album Fleetwood Mac with Stevie Nicks on lead vocals in the single Rhiannon. The song was voted one of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time by Rolling Stone.

Although Stevie Nicks is most well-known for being a member of Fleetwood Mac, she has also had a successful solo career. The 74-year-old star has released eight solo studio albums and done seventeen solo tours throughout her career. Music being at the core of her existence, she’s also got eight band tours under her belt and released seven studio albums with Fleetwood Mac.

Stevie Nicks has been nominated for six Grammy Awards with Fleetwood Mac, where the band won the award in 1978 for Album of the Year for Rumours and also received the Grammy Award Hall of Fame award in 2003. As a solo artist, Stevie Nicks has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, holding the record for the most nominations for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance without a win.

After six years of achieving worldwide fame with Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks started a solo career in 1981 while remaining a member of Fleetwood Mac. Her first solo album, Bella Donna, topped the Billboard 200 and has reached multi-platinum status. She has sold a certified total of 65 million copies of her solo and Fleetwood Mac albums in the US alone. The albums Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, and Bella Donna have been included in the “Greatest of All Time Billboard 200 Albums” by Billboard.

Stevie Nicks is the first woman to have been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998 and as a solo artist in 2019. She was also named one of the Greatest Songwriters of All Time by Rolling Stone. Stevie Nicks has been a legend in the music industry for decades, and she is still touring to this day.
